The Hitachi Magic Wand is a vibrating muscle massager long commanded by many in search of higher orgasmic satisfaction. I often wondered what the large deal was, I mean seriously; it’s huge, everybody’s saying it’s really noisy, it’s only 2 speeds, and I might have forgotten to say it’s um… huge! The generous people at Babeland offered for me to review.

Well, frankly now I can see about all the fuss. Let me inform you the specifics of this specific piece of machinery (because seriously IT IS NOT A TOY… it’s too great to be called a toy) and then we’ll get why everyone should have it in their toy box.

Magic Wand Review

A vibrating wand massager is the Hitachi Magic Wand. Since the seventies, it has been around and appears to be a staple in the adult film industry. It operates electrically and can only be used with energy sources 110-120v. The Hitachi is 12 inches long and the diameter of the head is 2 1/2′′. It comes with a 6-foot-long cord. Look at it this way, you could always carry it in your car and use it for a weapon if someone tries to rob you if it doesn’t work for you sexually or is not relaxing to your muscles. Weighing in at 1.2 pounds and having nearly enough cord to use it like a lasso, if you swing it at their head a few times, it will definitely offer somebody a break.

Okay, on to the reasons why one of these poor guys should have everyone. You can use it as a muscle massager or as a clit massager, either way when you’re done you’ll be lovely and relaxed. To hold on to it is sturdy and simple. I really felt like wands weren’t for me after using another wand massager that I won’t name (let’s call it the Wannabe Hitachi). It was clunky, and my contours just didn’t fit well. The first wand massager was nearly enough to switch me off for good, but I see it’s the one I should have received in the start after attempting the Hitachi.

The Hitachi is produced of vinyl and tough plastic, which are very secure, simple to wash products. Some soap and water are all you need, or your toy cleaner. You’re going to do it in a snap. The box that this enters is quite discreet, but let’s face it, there are very few people who don’t know for what a Hitachi wand is being used.

Pros:

  • Electric-makes it worth it just so you don’t have to buy tons of batteries
  • Flexible
  • Powerful
  • Easy to clean
  • I found it wasn’t too loud for me-you can hear it in my room, but since I’m using music to cover most of my toys anyway, it wasn’t something I could hear through my locked door

Cons:

  • Only to be used in the U.S.
  • Should only be used for less than 30 minutes at a time ( let’s face it, if it takes you more than 30 minutes to get off with a Hitachi, you have a “Clit of Steel” and nothing is going to work for you)
  • not waterproof ( BECAUSE IT’S ELECTRIC!!!)
  • only 2 speeds ( low which is really- Phasers set on stun and high- which I have no clue what something this high would be called other than OMG OMG, I am a puddle of goo now..)

I gave you advantages and disadvantages on this item, but the disadvantages aren’t necessarily bad for me, as most of them don’t really hamper me. I live in the United States, it took me about 10 minutes to get off with this, I play better in bed and I barely even used it on high (lower was fine for me and probably stronger than high on many of my toys). For the individual who thought up this specific toy, there is certainly a unique place.

Five out of five stars!
